A REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to reduce the thickness of a refrigerator by placing a cold air generating room for a refrigerator, a cold air generating room for a freezer, and a machine room in the top of a main body. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a main body(1) which includes a refrigerator room(20) and a freezer(10); a cold air generation room(100) for a freezer and a cold air generation room(200) for the cold chamber which are installed on the top of the main body and respectively generate cold air which is used for the freezer and the refrigerator room; and a machine room(300) which is installed in the top of the main body and is arranged between the cold air generation room for a freezer and the cold air generation room for a refrigerator room. The freezer and the refrigerator room are arranged in parallel. The cold air generation room for a freezer is arranged on the outside of the upper side of the freezer. The cold air generation room for a refrigerator is arranged on the outside of the upper side of the refrigerator room.
