PURPOSE: A polymerizable liquid crystal compound is provided to obtain a liquid crystal film showing uniform homogenous alignment when the polymerizable liquid composition is spread on a support substrate and to control birefringence. CONSTITUTION: A polymerizable liquid crystal compound contains a mixture of polymerizable compounds and a non-ionic surfactant E component. The mixture of the polymerizable compound includes: A component which is selected from a group marked as a chemical formula (1-1); B component which is an essential component and is selected from a group marked as a chemical formula (2-1); C component which is selected from chemical formulas (3-1) - (3-3); and D component which is selected from a group marked as a chemical formula (4-1).
