PURPOSE: An air conditioning system and a method of controlling temperature and humidity are provided to uniformly and properly maintain the temperature of a space wherein an air conditioner is installed. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning system comprise: a remote controller(100) which comprises a sensor(110) which senses temperature or humidity within a sensing range; a signal processing unit(300) which creates the location information of the remote controller and the temperature or humidity information of the sensing range based on the sensing signal from the sensor; and a controller(400) which controls a wind direction, a wind volume, and a temperature in the sensing range corresponding to the remote controller by controlling the air conditioner based on the temperature or humidity information of the sensing range. The location information of the remote controller includes the direction to which the remote controller locates from the air conditioner and the distance between the remote controller and the air conditioner.
