PURPOSE: A strut assembly inspection apparatus is provided to stabilize and enhance the quality of a assembling completed vehicle by enabling the quality of assembled strut assembly to be determined under more strict conditions. CONSTITUTION: A strut assembly(1) inspection apparatus comprises a fixing unit(5), a distance measurement sensor(9), and a controller(11). The fixing unit fixes the shock absorber cylinder(3) of the strut assembly. The distance measurement sensor is fixed with a given position relation with the fixing unit. The distance measurement sensor is installed to be spaced by a given distance along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body on the insulator(7) of the upper end of the strut assembly. The controller receives a signal from the distance measurement sensor. The controller determines the fault of the insulator assembling angle of the strut assembly based on whether or not each measured distance difference is above a given value.
