The device has a saw kerf arranged at a determined place, and equipped with a foldable hinge system at the level of a gunwale so as to rotate a rear part of the small craft by returning on a front part (3) to form a small unit. An opening formed by the saw kerf is occulted by a sealed closure. A bottom part is equipped with a locking system to maintain two shells to be integrated and rigid by a perfect alignment for sealed boating.
