<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device capable of reducing a period in which a photoelectric conversion element is in a reset state. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 305-1 executes control for outputting a pixel signal according to signal charges from pixels 100b to vertical signal lines 114 independently on a row basis. A control part 304-1 executes control for resetting the signal charges stored in photoelectric conversion elements in the pixels 100b independently on a row basis. By executing these control operations independently on a row basis, outputs of the pixel signals are sequentially executed on a row basis, reset states of the photoelectric conversion elements can be terminated from the row with the output of the pixel signal completed, and thereby the period in which the photoelectric conversion element is in the reset state can be shortened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
