<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which occurrence of counter leak is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 includes: an active matrix substrate 2 having pixel electrodes 25, gate bus lines 27 and source bus lines 23 which are arrayed like a matrix; and a counter substrate 4 opposed to the active matrix substrate 2 through a liquid crystal layer 6 and having a black matrix 44 and a counter electrode 43. The black matrix 44 is formed by resin, and in an area where the black matrix 44 is overlapped to the counter electrode 43, the counter electrode 43 is formed between the black matrix 44 and a glass substrate 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
