<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a service life of a LED by reducing stress to be applied thereto. <P>SOLUTION: LED lines 100a-100x include a plurality of LEDs:D1-Dn connected in series to each other in a forward direction, and NPN transistors Qa-Qx and resistors Ra-Rx are connected to the LED lines 100a-100x connected in parallel with each other. Each base of the NPN transistors Qa-Qx is connected to a switch control section 41 of a control circuit 40, and lighting control signals with mutually shifted phases are supplied from the switch control section 41 to the respective bases.
