<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of information recording accuracy and to enhance recording density in a magnetic disk. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Since a continuous recording layer 50C on which a magnetic material is accumulated to form a flattened surface thereof and DTR recording layers 50A and 50B in which magnetic layers and non-magnetic materials are alternately arranged in in-plane directions to form flattened surfaces thereof are assigned to a plurality of data storing regions divided in a radial direction of the magnetic disk 1, the reduction of information recording accuracy is suppressed by assigning the DTR recording layers to a region expected to have high influence by a leakage magnetic field of adjacent tracks or the like according to a positional relation and the like of a magnetic head and a carriage actuator. Since a track pitch Tpv is determined considering a core width of the head by assigning the continuous recording layer 50C to a region having low influence by leakage magnetic field of adjacent tracks, recording density of the magnetic disk 1 is enhanced.
