<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance exhaust performance by stabilizing exhaust components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device includes: a main feedback control execution means 61 which executes main feedback control for adjusting a target intake air fuel ratio based on a first exhaust air fuel ratio AFex between an engine 1 and a first catalyst converter 31; a control compensation amount map 66 which regulates a control compensation amount A based on a second exhaust air fuel ratio AFex2 between the first catalyst converter 31 and a second catalyst converter 32, and on a third exhaust air fuel ratio AFex3 at a downstream side of the second catalyst converter 32; and a sub-feedback control execution means 62 which executes a sub-feedback control for compensating the main feedback control based on the control compensation amount A obtained by applying the second exhaust air fuel ratio AFex2 and the third exhaust air fuel ratio AFex3 to the control compensation amount map 66.
