PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly type shock-absorbing heat insulating material which can be repeatedly used, and is folded in a non-bulky shape when not in use. SOLUTION: The assembly type shock-absorbing heat insulating material 10A includes a first foam plate 17 formed of a plurality of bar-like foams arrayed in parallel in the same direction, and a pair of second foam plates 18 formed of a plurality of bar-like foams arrayed in parallel in the same direction. The first foam plate 17 forms a bottom wall 11, front and rear side walls 12 and 13 connected to both side edges 23 in the first direction of the bottom wall 11 in a foldable manner, and a top wall 16 connected to a side edge 33 in the first direction of the front side wall 12 in a foldable manner. The second foam plate 18 forms right and left side walls 14 and 15 connected to both side edges 37 in the second direction of the bottom wall 11 in a foldable manner. The shock-absorbing heat insulating material 10A is attachably/detachably fitted to the inner side of a container for parcel delivery formed of a plastic or a plastic corrugated fiberboard in an assembled state of a hexahedron shape during the use, and folded in substantially the same shape as the plane shape of the bottom wall 11 when it is not in use.
