<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus of excellent recording quality suppressing the transfer of an image from a recording surface of a recording medium to a conveying roller and the retransfer of the image from the conveying roller to a succeeding recording surface. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus 100 includes an ink storage part, an ink ejection means 2 and the conveying roller 4. An in-jet recording aqueous ink is stored in the ink storage part. The aqueous ink is ejected on the recording surface of the recording medium 1 by the ink ejection means 2 to record information on the recording medium 1, and the recording medium 1 on which the information has been recorded is conveyed by the conveying roller 4. The apparatus 100 further includes a powder supply means. Water-insoluble powder 3 is stuck in a movable manner to the surface of the conveying roller 4 by the powder supply means. The recording medium 1 on which the information has been recorded is thereby conveyed in the interposed state of the water-insoluble powder 3 between the recording surface of the recording medium 1 and the surface of the conveying roller 4.
