PLASMA DISPLAY DEVICE DRIVE METHOD

Provided is a plasma display device drive method which uses a plurality of display combination sets formed by different numbers of elements.  A spatial differential is calculated for each of the red image signal, the green image signal, and the blue image signal.  For an image signal having a large spatial differential, the method uses a display combination set having a smaller number of elements than the display combination set used for an image signal having a small spatial differential.
