RETROREFLECTIVE ARTICLE

Provided is a retroreflective article having excellent retroreflective efficiency, incident angle characteristics, observation angle characteristics, and rotation angle characteristics. The retroreflective article comprises many cube corner retroreflective elements arranged in a closest packed state on a common plane (plane Sc) in each of which three reflective side surfaces (surfaces a, b, c) share three edges (HD, HE, HF) and a vertex (H) and each of which has an optical axis passing through the vertex (H) and away from the three reflective side surfaces (surfaces a, b, c) by the same distance.  The retroreflective article is characterized by including at least two or more cube corner retroreflective elements having optical axes tilted with respect to each other in a plane (plane Sv) containing an edge (HF) perpendicular to the reflective side surface (surface c) and common to the other reflective side surfaces (surfaces a, b) and a perpendicular line dropped to the common plane (plane Sc) from the vertex (H).
