The present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically measuring the temperature of a combustion chamber of a coke oven using a pyrometer in an accurate and safe manner. To this end, the apparatus of the present invention comprises a first rail unit arranged to traverse the travel direction of a charging car for the coke oven, a first slider which is arranged to be movable along the first rail, and which travels along the lengthwise direction of the first rail by a first motor, a second rail unit mounted on the first slider in the direction crossing the first rail unit, a second slider which is arranged to be movable upwards in the direction of the combustion chamber of the coke oven along the second rail unit, and which travels by a second motor, a position sensor which is arranged to be movable along with the movement of the second slider, and which senses the position of a combustion chamber lid, a clamping unit mounted on the second slider to selectively clamp the combustion chamber lid when a signal is applied from the position sensor, and a temperature measuring instrument which measures the temperature of the inside of the combustion chamber when the combustion chamber lid is opened by the movement of the second slider when the combustion chamber is clamped by the clamping unit. |
