The support element i.e. disk like support plate (10), has support units for respective lamella packets (51, 151). A free run is produced in an axial direction for one of the support units such that one of the support units is deformed in an axial direction without deformation of the other support unit. Support unit segments (12a, 12b) are arranged at a periphery of the plate and separated by radial gaps. The segments are associated to respective support units. The support units are connected with a circular outer ring and include identical rigidities in the axial direction.
