The plant cultivation device (100), which is capable of providing a suitable growing environment for plants, is equipped with: an LED substrate (2) on which is mounted an LED (21) which emits light for plant growth; a lens substrate (3) having a lens part (31) which focuses light from the LED (21) and directs the light to the plants; and a suction mechanism which sucks air from the space on the back side of the LED-mounting face of the LED substrate (2). In addition, the LED substrate (2) has multiple first through-holes (2a); the lens substrate (3) has multiple second through-holes (3a); the flow path resistance of the first through-holes (2a) is greater than the flow path resistance of the second through-holes (3a); and the first through-holes (2a) are provided in a greater number than that of the second through-holes (3a).
