FLOW QOS ETHERNET SWITCH AND FLOW QOS PROCESSING METHOD BY THE SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A flow QoS Ethernet switch and a flow QoS processing method by the same are provided to guarantee the quality of the IP service with a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A packet switch(120) performs the switching of an Ethernet layer. A plurality of flow QoS line cards(110) provides the QoS function about the IP flow passing through the packet switch. Whether a packet inputted from an external interface or the packet switch applies to a flow QoS application object IP packet or not is determined. A classification machine transfers the inputted packet to the IP flow QoS engine or transmitter according to the decision result.
