PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to simplifying the installation work of a front panel by hanging the bottom of the front panel on a base and combining the top of the front panel with an upper panel. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises: a base; a cabinet(10) which is installed in the top-rear side of the base; a left lower panel and a right lower panel(40) which are arranged in the left and the right of the front-lower part of the cabinet; a upper panel(20) which is arranged in the upper-front part of the cabinet; a front panel(50) which covers the front part of the upper panel and a space between the left lower panel and the right lower panel; a hanging part(80) which hangs the lower part of the front panel on the base; and an attaching/detaching part which interlinks the upper side of the front panel to the upper part of the upper panel and divides from the upper part of the upper panel.
