PURPOSE: A memory module and a data input-output system are provided to reduce the number of the pins of memory modules and memory controllers by minimizing the control signal required for the controlling of a memory module. CONSTITUTION: A first memory chip is mounted on a first rank(RANK0). A second memory chip is mounted on a second rank(RANK1). A first memory chip(210) outputs the low sequence data selected among a plurality of data to the outside through lower data output pins in a first data output mode. A second memory chip(320) outputs data of the same sequence as the lower sequence among the plurality of data outward through the upper data output pins in the first data output mode. The first memory chip and the second memory chip output all of the plurality of data outputted from each core outward through each lower data output pin and upper data output pin in a second data output mode.
