The invention relates to a crystalline polymorph of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of an optically active antifungal imidazole compound of formula (III), the pharmaceutical and agricultural compositions containing such polymorph, its use in the treatment or prevention of skin or mucous membrane infections caused by fungi or yeasts in humans or pets, and its use in the treatment or prevention of agricultural diseases produced by such infectious agents.
