<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring apparatus based on a volume compensation method, for continuously and highly accurately measuring blood pressure even when adopting four limbs other than fingers as measuring sites. <P>SOLUTION: The blood pressure measuring apparatus 1A includes, an air bag 20, a pressure mechanism, a cuff pressure detecting part, and a control part. The pressure mechanism includes: a pressure block 51 having a pressure surface 51a to pressurize the air bag 20; and an actuator 52 for driving the pressure block 51. The control part includes: a servo control part for continuously adjusting the cuff pressure by controlling the driving of the actuator 52 after allowing the cuff pressure to coincide with initial cuff pressure; and a blood pressure acquisition part for continuously acquiring the blood pressure, based on cuff pressure information detected by the cuff pressure detecting part in a state where the servo control of the cuff pressure is being performed. The air bag 20 is fully covered by the pressure surface 51a in a state where the air bag 20 is pressurized against a region to be measured by the pressure block 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
