<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip resistor preventing a turn region from being destroyed by current concentration in the turn region where a first turning is carried out from a connection end with an upper face electrode. <P>SOLUTION: A side part 34a-1 of a band-shaped part junction part 34a is tiltedly formed in relation to the direction (X1-X2) between electrodes, and the depth part of a cutout part L1 is formed into a triangular shape.
