<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide energy efficient control device and control method for a cargo handling machine. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for the cargo handling machine includes a motor (4) for cargo handling work, a battery (5), a generator (12) for generating power with the power from an engine (11), and an inverter (3) for converting power to drive the motor with the power supplied from the generator and/or the battery, the battery being connected to a DC bus bar of the inverter. In the control device, after the lapse of a first prescribed time, which is 0 or more, from start of motor driving, the engine rotation speed is switched from an idle rotation speed to a rated rotation speed, and after the lapse of a second prescribed time, which is 0 or more, from stop of motor driving, the engine rotation speed is switched from the rated rotation speed to the idle rotation speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
