PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system for easily mounting an image display apparatus such as a liquid crystal display to a support stand. SOLUTION: The image display system includes the image display apparatus 1 and the support stand 2 for supporting the image display apparatus 1. The support stand 2 has a frame section 21 for engaging the image display apparatus 1. The image display apparatus 1 is provided with a bar-like engaging member 81, and the frame section 21 is provided with a ring-like member 82 to be engaged. The engaging member 81 and a member 82 to be engaged are engaged with each other in an engaged state where the image display apparatus 1 is engaged with the frame section 21.
