POLYESTERIMIDE RESIN VARNISH, AND INSULATED ELECTRIC WIRE USING THE SAME

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyesterimide resin vanish capable of forming a polyesterimide insulating film which is excellent in heat resistance and mechanical strength. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The polyesterimide resin vanish includes a polyesterimide resin, and a multi-functional thiol compound having two or more of mercapto-groups bonded to secondary carbon. Furthermore, a curing agent may be included in the polyesterimide resin vanish. The multi-functional thiol compound having two or more of mercapto-groups bonded to the secondary carbon can form the insulating film which is more excellent in a conductor adherence property in comparison with a thiol compound including only one mercapto-group and a thiol compound having mercapto-groups bonded to primary and tertiary carbon atoms.
