<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user in an electric toy played by causing a train toy to travel on a runway. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The runway unit 112 where the train toy 101 travels includes: a sidewall part 302 for defining the position of the train toy 101 in the width direction when the train toy 101 travels on the runway unit 112; and three linear electrodes 309-311 disposed to be symmetrical with respect to the center position of the sidewall part 302 and configured in such a way that a pair of the electrodes 309 and 310 and a pair of the electrodes 310 and 311 are supplied with power sources. The width-direction position and width-direction interval of the pair of the electrodes 309 and 310 or 310 and 311 are defined so that the pair of the electrodes 309 and 310 or 310 and 311 are brought into contact with a pair of electrodes 501 and 502 provided at the train toy 101 when the train toy 101 travels in one direction.
