<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor which can prevent the exfoliation and scattering of segment magnets, and can prevent the deterioration of the efficiency of a motor while suppressing vibration to a low level by using an inexpensive constitution, and the motor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A rotor yoke 1 is formed by laminating three kinds of rotor cores 10a, 10b and 10c which are obtained by press-processing a magnetic thin plate to a prescribed dimension. Protrusions 11 corresponding to the number of the divided segment magnets 2 are evenly formed at external peripheries of the rotor cores 10a, 10b. The segment magnets 2 are thick in center at cross sections, thin at both ends, and of uneven thickness types. (Curvature radii differ from each other at the internal periphery and the external periphery.) The protrusions 11 are plastically deformed, made to abut on external peripheral faces of thin-thick parts of the segment magnets 2, and mechanically fixed to the external peripheral faces.
