<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system, or the like, which is suitable for reducing user's waiting time due to warming-up processing, while securing the security and reducing an environmental load. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A receiving device 4 reads information of a wireless tag carried by a user existing within a prescribed distance and transmits the information to an information server 3. The information server 3 acquires information, showing a preliminarily stored installation position of the reception device 4, on the basis of the read information and specifies the installation position as the current position of the user. When it is determined that the user has authority to use a prescribed multifunctional device 1, the information server 3 transmits a warming-up processing request to the multifunction device 1, when the specified user position is within a prescribed distance from the multifunction device 1.
