<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To presume a looking off angle of a driver based on the operation state of a blinker lever, and to change display brightness at flush light emission according to the presumed looking off angle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A vehicle alarm device 1 uses HUD 3 for displaying a virtual image at a display position previously set in a front visual field of an occupant. The HUD 3 promotes front side gaze of the occupant by flush light emission of the virtual image when instruction of alarm output exists and makes display brightness at flush light emission higher than usual in the blinker operation state. In the case of blinker operation for indicating advancement to a front passenger seat side, the display brightness at flush light emission is made higher than the case of the blinker operation for indicating advancement to a driver's seat side.
