PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas adsorption purification apparatus that can stably perform efficient adsorption of a tar component in a produced gas produced by gasifying biomass, and to provide a biomass gasification system. SOLUTION: The gas adsorption purification apparatus is designed to generate a purified gas 13 by passing the produced gas 11 containing a heavy component or the like through the biomass 12 as a gradually moving consolidated medium and adsorbing the heavy component onto the biomass 12. The gas adsorption purification apparatus is equipped with a gas supply tube 14 into which the biomass 12 gradually passes and the produced gas 11 is supplied and at least a pair of a gas supply part 15 and a gas discharge part 16 disposed opposite to each other in the gas supply tube 14. The gas discharge part 16 is constituted of a body 19 of the gas discharge part for sucking the purified gas 13 and a plurality of downward-opening protruding ports 18 formed on a gas sucking surface 19a of the body 19 of the gas discharge part.
