摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the equipment cost of an electric power storage system designed for electric-load leveling, regeneration cancellation prevention, and the effective use of regenerative electric power in the section where an alternating-current electric railroad runs in parallel with a direct-current electric railroad. SOLUTION: A control part 3 is an information-processing device like a personal computer provided with a memory unit storing predetermined reference values in advance. The control part 3 receives direct-current feeding voltage V<SB>DC</SB>of a direct-current feeding voltage detection part 4 and alternating-current feeding voltage V<SB>AC</SB>of an alternating-current feeding voltage detection part 5 as input signals, and compares the reference values stored in the memory unit. According to the comparison result, the control part 3 controls an electric power storage device 1 and an electric power converter (DC/AC) 2 so as to perform an electric power interchange between the direct-current electric railroad and the alternating-current electric railroad.
