The column (10') has an outer part (16') and an inner part (18') connected with each other under formation of a gap (20'). A roof frame element (22') is connected with the column over a connection area (21'). A reinforcing element (24) i.e. partition wall element, made of plastic is arranged in the gap in an area of the connection area, and provided with a structural foam material over which the reinforcing element is supported at the inner and outer parts. The reinforcing element has a set of chambers formed by walls of the reinforcing element.
