A cap outer part (102) comprises an opening (104), and the cap interior part is inserted into the opening in an alternatively attached manner. The cap outer part is provided for attachment of a fastening configuration (119). Fastening pins (113, 115) are provided at the cap outer part and/or at the cap interior part. Fastening openings (114, 116) are attached to the fastening pins. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a protective cap system for sectionally covering generator.
