PURPOSE: A hinge assembly for a swing door is provided to secure smooth and noise-reduced operation of a swing door by opening or closing the door using a rotary wheel. CONSTITUTION: A hinge assembly(300) for a swing door comprises a stationary unit(320), a rotary unit, a rotary wheel(348), and a rotary wheel guide(326). The fixing unit is fixed to a wall or ceiling. The rotary unit is coupled to a swing door and installed to move vertically and rotate in the stationary unit. The rotary wheel is installed in the rotary unit and contacts the stationary wheel and rotates during the rotation of the rotary unit. The rotary wheel guide is installed in the stationary unit and, when the rotary unit rotates, pressed by an external force to contact the rotary wheel and returned to the original position under its weight after the external force is removed. |
