PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric actuator including a sliding guide mechanism capable of bearing high load without increasing the size of the device. SOLUTION: The electric actuator includes a base composed of a material made of metal or ceramics and has high mechanical characteristics, a moving body movably installed on the base via the sliding guide mechanism, and composed of a material made of metal or ceramics and has high mechanical characteristics, and a driving means for moving the moving body. The sliding guide mechanism comprises a guiding recessed part provided to one of the base and a slider, and a guiding projection part provided to the other of the base and the slider and comes in sliding contact with the guiding recessed part.
