PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily design or select a member, in the technology for releasing or deactivating a supercooling state of a heat storage material by producing physical stimulus by utilizing the change of shape in accompany with the change of a temperature of the member disposed in the heat storage material. SOLUTION: This supercooling releasing device 100 for releasing the supercooling state of the heat storage material, includes a first member 1, a second member 2, and a contact part where at least a part of the first member 1 and at least a part of the second member 2 are constantly kept into contact with each other without joined to each other, in the heat storage material, and the supercooling state of the heat storage material is released in relative sliding of both members at the contact part due to thermal expansion of at least one of the first member 1 and the second member 2.
