PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of preventing a cable or an ink tube connected to a carriage, from being deformed in a sagging direction by its own weight with low-cost constitution while hardly increasing the dynamic load of the carriage during recording. SOLUTION: The recording device is provided to constitute a surface for supporting the ink tube 81 and an FFC (flexible flat cable) 82 from the lower side in a position to abut on a part of the ink tube 81 and FFC 82 in a state of the carriage 61 being stopped in a home position HP where the carriage 61 stays in a standby state of not carrying out recording and at the power-off (during transportation or storage) of an inkjet printer 50 and in a position not to interfere with the ink tube 81 and FFC 82 in a reciprocating range of the carriage 61 during recording.
