PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, a divided management server, an information processing method, a divided management method, a program and an information processing system, capable of fairly dividing a data file for management among a plurality of apparatus. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes a blocking part for acquiring holding block information, which is information about blocks to be held in the apparatus, about a data file held in the apparatus which is divided into a plurality of blocks for divided management among information processing apparatus other than the apparatus, and dividing the data file to be held in the apparatus according to the holding block information; and a memory for recording the blocks of the data file specified by the holding block information in association with data file identification information, which is information identifying the data file.
