<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable users to appropriately cope with voice arrival to other portable telephones in a situation in which one portable telephone is in a private call state in a plurality of portable telephones simultaneously connecting an HFP to an in-vehicle hands-free apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The in-vehicle hands-free apparatus 2 simultaneously displays a call transfer switch for changing a portable telephone 3a in a private call state from the private call state to a hands-free call state and a response switch for responding to voice communication to the portable telephone 3b, and a response rejection switch for rejecting responses when voice arrives at the other portable telephone 3b in a situation in which one portable telephone 3a is in a private call state in the two portable telephones 3a, 3b to which the HFP is in simultaneous connection.
