PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for providing a pick with ears on a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, which is easily peelable even by children and the old. SOLUTION: The method of providing the pick with ears on a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises attaching a broad piece of paper, cellophane film or plastic film onto part of a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape so as to jut out from both sides of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and providing cuttable breaks along one line corresponding to one of diagonal lines in the part of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape to which the paper or the like is attached. By picking and pulling up the part jutting out from both sides of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape as a so-called ear with fingers, the pick provided with breaks is easily cut and the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape attached thereto can be peeled.
