PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shaping work efficiency by avoiding shaping failure due to rotation failure when forming an outer peripheral surface of the front end of an electrode tip by a plurality of projections shaping outer peripheral surface, and to improve shaping precision by reducing vibration when flattening the front end surface of the electrode tip by projections for shaping front end surface. SOLUTION: While the projections for shaping outer peripheral surface are rotated and forcibly contacted respectively to the peripheral surface of the front part of the electrode tip, deformed parts are pressed and extended toward the front end side so as to be shaped into a normal shape. Then, the deformed part, which is pressed and extended to the front end side by rotating the front end surface shaping projections, is piled onto the front end surface of the electrode tip and pressed and flattened to be shaped into the normal shape.
