<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that temperature variation is generated in a head substrate by a rise of temperature due to heating of a functional circuit in the event of recording, which results in variation in an ejection amount of ink by each nozzle, thereby degrading quality of a recorded image in an inkjet recording head which is of a constant current drive type having the functional circuit accompanied by heat generation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At least a part of functional circuits accompanied by heat generation such as constant current sources or reference current circuits are laid out along a row formed by a plurality of nozzles.
