<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device capable of effectively preventing the accuracy of a cutting dimension from being deteriorated due to the lateral displacement of the upper layers of printed products by reliably preventing the lateral displacement when stacked printed products are held between the support base and the holding clamp of a cutter and cut off. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This cutting device for cutting stacked printed products includes the support base having a flat holding surface on which the printed products are placed, the holding clamp for holding and fixing the printed products between itself and the support base, and a cutting blade for cutting the printed products. The cutting blade is operated to perform a cutting such as a divided cutting or an accurate cutting. The holding surface of the holding clamp which faces the printed products has a plurality of generally semi-spherical projections or a plurality of generally spherical projections.
