The spark plug (100) has a pre-chamber (110) for accommodating an ignitable medium. The pre-chamber has a primary chamber (1101) and a secondary chamber (1102) arranged adjacent to an accommodating area (120), where the secondary chamber is provided in fluid connection with the primary chamber in an end area (1101a) of the primary chamber. A coupling unit for coupling laser radiation (135) in the pre-chamber is formed such that the laser radiation is focused on an ignition point (ZP) lying in the primary chamber. An independent claim is also included for a pre-chamber arrangement for an internal-combustion engine for accommodating an ignitable medium.
