APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING BREAST CANCER

PURPOSE: A breast cancer diagnosis apparatus and a method are provided to accurately grasp a size, form and a location of a tumor existing in the breast by detecting the tomogram image about a specific cross-section of the breast. CONSTITUTION: A tank(110) inserting a breast(100) is prepared. A sensor(120) is located inside the tank. The sensor measures spatial information of the breast with detecting a surface coordinate of the breast. A plurality of antennae(130) is located on an inside wall of the tank. A plurality of antennae implements a transmission and a receiving of a microwave. A processing unit measures phase information and an amplitude of the microwave received through a plurality of antennae.
