PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking suction box having draining properties homogenized in the width direction of a formed belt and excellent maintainability, and to provide a papermaking machine using the papermaking suction box in order to obtain a good formed product by converting a raw material of a mineral such as cement into a slurry state, and draining the slurry in a transportation process. SOLUTION: The papermaking suction box includes: a plurality of rotating rolls disposed at a narrower interval than the diameter of the rotating rolls so as to be mutually parallel; and auxiliary rotating rolls disposed for circumscribing the rotating rolls, and rotatably supporting the rotating rolls under a space between the shafts of the rotating rolls in an opening of a casing.
