PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly orienting polylactic acid in an optional direction by using a method other than orientation operation. SOLUTION: The production method of a polylactic acid resin material oriented in the predetermined direction comprises a step of preparing a polylactic acid resin material containing a polylactic acid resin and a metallic salt of a phosphorus compound represented by formula (I), wherein the polylactic acid resin is in the melt or fused state, and a step of crystallizing the polylactic acid resin material while adding a magnetic field in the predetermined direction. In the formula (I), R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each independently H, a 1-10C alkyl or a 1-10C alkoxycarbonyl, and R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>may be the same or different.
