<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opposed type disk brake device which can easily perform pad replacement work or clearance management between a torque bearing surface and a brake pad, and improve assemblability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pad securing section 23 of a caliper half section 11 includes a pad housing concave section 31 which regulates the locations of three side surfaces except one side surface among four side surfaces of periphery of a brake pad 5, and an anchor block 33 which regulates the location of the brake pad 5 by being detachably fastened to a half body 12 so that an opening section 32 formed by one side surface of the pad housing concave section 31 may be closed.
