<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover preventing a cover member covering a roof or outer wall of a building from flying in cross wind. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The protective cover A for covering a part or all of a protection object includes: a cover member 11 having a plurality of ventilation parts 12 for passing cross wind blown to between it and the protection object; and a plurality of cylindrical blow-by members 13 the base end of which is connected to the periphery of each ventilation part 12. The blow-by member 13 is formed of a flexible material, and covers the ventilation part 12 when it lies down by its own weight. The protective cover A can release, even when strong cross wind is blown to the building, the cross window through the plurality of ventilation parts 12 provided in the cover member 11 and the blow-by members 13 extended respectively from the ventilation parts 12 toward the surface of the cover member 11, and thus can regularly keep the cover member in covering above the roof.
